Summary:

Manage and maintain the tools and processes supporting the System's business planning discipline. Conduct confidential, primary market research and analysis and other secondary market research necessary to support the strategic and business planning efforts across the System. Provide business planning services and other support to maintain a disciplined business. Provides counsel and manages Certificate of Need (CON) needs for the System. Develops CON applications and submittals. Monitors CON activity across the region. Manages the tools and processes supporting the System Strategic Plan and Balanced Scorecard.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Master's Degree required
• Healthcare concentration preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years progressive business planning and market analysis experience (healthcare industry preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working with budgeting and financial analysis concepts
• Experience working in a cross-functional capacity or environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY

• Exceptional computer skills including Access, Power Point, Excel and Word
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle confidential information
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, people and projects
• Ability to use self-initiative in completing required work load and work with little or no supervision
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Strong understanding in the basic concepts of statistics and numerical comparisons
• Knowledge of NYS data including MedStat, NYAHSA systems/ databases preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of NYS CON schedules and processes preferred
