Career Opportunity: Sales Engineer with MQ Automation in Columbus, OH

Do you have strong technical sales experience? Do you have experience in the Industrial Automation industry? Are you looking for an opportunity where you will play an impactful part of the growth of an organization? If you answered yes, then MQ Automation has the opportunity for you!

As the Sales Engineer with MQ Automation, you will play a critical role as the interface between the customer and the technical functions within our organization. Your responsibilities will span from early customer technical sales discussions, all the way through the delivery and installation of our products. You will lead communications with our clients to determine technical specifications of their equipment needs and then lead the projects through to completion with a focus on meeting project milestones and budget goals.

This is a remote outside sales position that will cover the Columbus, OH (Central Ohio) region. It would require the ability to travel routinely to client locations throughout the region.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Must have a technical aptitude and a solid sense of business sales along with proven customer management skills, account assessment, and solution-based selling experience.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree, preferred but not required.
• Experience with industrial automated/PLC controlled systems.
• Strong project management capabilities and communication skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the Columbus/Central Ohio region to visit client sites
• Previous quoting and estimating experience is a plus
