Job Title: Patient Liaison I
SUMMARY The primary contact within the distributor for the internal Kinex/R&M Rehab teams to facilitate communications between the Sales/Service teams. This role will proactively answer questions and provides issue resolution as they relate to the distribution force and patient inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Interact and communicate directly with distributors, sales and service representatives to facilitate standard levels of service
- Respond daily to correspondence via electronic communication – real time chat, email, or fax
- Provide distributor troubleshooting and issue resolution, escalate needs as situation dictates
- Develop processes to effectively address and resolve routine distributor concerns
- Field questions from internal Kinex departments to sales and service representatives across all distributorships
- Understand the order entry process for the orders within your distributorship
- Enter in ASAP orders into the Orders database
- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from multiple sources when information is incomplete
- Confirm incoming orders per department policy
- Effectively communicate and document patient interactions including inquiries, comments and complaints
- Review Documents received and verify if key requirements are met.
- Create relationships with Distribution force to obtain Missing items timely and prevent future errors
- Obtain missing Documentation that is necessary to process and/or Bill the order
- Perform effective documentation on missing or invalid information.
- Identify trends observed with invalid Documents as needed.
- Identify inaccurate or missing information and note clearly the reason for the denial.
- Escalate issues to the proper level or business unit to be able to address the situation
- Performs work accurately with an eye for detail
- Utilizes the communication tools outlined by Kinex (ex. SharePoint, track-it, etc.);
- Have a pleasant and friendly style
- Process various daily reports
- Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully an individual should have a high school diploma or GED.
COMPUTER SKILLS Strong PC Software and Web skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web based tools.
LANGUAGE SKILLS To perform this job successfully an individual must have a strong ability to use the English language properly in written and oral communication.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This person must possess the ability to perform calculations that assist the analysis process.
REASONING ABILITY To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to solve problems within minutes and also recognize analogous situations and solutions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to work in a sitting position at a computer for up to 8 hours per day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This job does require some warehouse work (pulling/shipping items) so candidate must be able to lift, reach, pack, ship. WORK ENVIRONMENT Job responsibilities will be performed within an office and warehouse environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. There is no little to no risk for exposure to infectious disease as this position does not mandate direct contact with patients or equipment. Should the employee become infected with Tuberculosis, they will report to their direct supervisor to ensure that other employees are not at risk for exposure. The employee will seek medical attention and not return to work until released by a physician.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
