Retail Store Associate

As a Retail Store Associate, you will be instrumental in providing front line quality customer service and superior attention to our Residential customers at our Metronet retail store. Our Retail Store Associates are the face and voice of Metronet for our residential customers and potential residential customers in answering any questions/concerns that they might have around our service and products. Those interactions will include, but aren’t limited to, sharing with our customers and potential customers more about our products and services, working with customers to retain their existing business, as well as ensuring that each customer has the exceptional in-person customer service experience that they have come to expect (and deserve) from Metronet.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide strong understanding and enthusiasm around technology, especially around MetroNet products and services. Maintain detailed sales product knowledge, including competitive information.
• Provide superior customer service with all customer interactions. Evaluate customers’ potential product needs and make appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize retention techniques to proactively retain and upgrade existing customers.
• Manage store inventory, process equipment transactions, and handle payment activity with a focus of maximizing the customer experience.
• Ability to work in a fast pace, high-volume environment.
• Ability to complete 50+ outbound customer calls per shift
• Ability to work in non-verbal (chat/ email) queues focused on both new sales and retention.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years related experience
• Sales and customer service experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to showcase your Customer Service, Initiative and Problem-Solving competencies
