The main focus of the Membership Department is the three R’s: Recruit, Retain, and Reclaim

Account Representative- creates, finds, and maintains customer accounts and serves as the primary point of contact between clients and ATRA. They communicate regularly with clients, address client concerns and keep track of client transactions and payments. They are the face of our company and the friendly voice on the other end of the phone for our members. The person that’s right for this position should be engaging, motivated, and ready to work closely with a team. Many ATRA employees have been with the company 5+ years and we are looking for someone to join us long-term.

As an Account Representative your tasks also include answering incoming calls, directing customers or clients to the right departments or extensions, and answering any questions people have when they contact ATRA. This position varies some depending on where the work load is and what task has been deemed most important.

Daily/weekly/monthly tasks:

· Answer incoming calls, directing members or clients to the right departments. Answer any questions people have when they contact ATRA to the best of your ability.

· Find, create, and maintain accounts through reporting.

· Process Payments - Dues/Websites.

· Updating Member Accounts (including lapsed or declined members and the shopfinder)

- Member Support, Recruitment & Mailings which include recruiting non-member shops & suppliers through reporting. Recruitment is of particular importance in this role. Reaching out to potential members to show how ATRA can help them and their business grow. Following up on leads to facilitate new membership. This responsibility utilizes creativity and marketing skills.

· Process & Track Courtesy Calls.

· Process and ship Bookstore Orders.

· Respond to email requests.

· Assisting all departments where the membership data base needs to be updated or verified.

Data Entry Responsibilities:

- Adding/deleting members

- Reports for Accounting

- Processing payments

- Bookstore Inventory

Experience:

- Customer service and/or sales experience necessary

- Associate’s Degree helpful

- Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,280.00 per year
