Carpets Unlimited is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Athens, GA.

Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships and will be responsible for prospecting potential new clients, working with the Sales Team to market the business, and working with the Store Manager to grow the company’s sales. Sales Representative will work closely with the Operations Manger to ensure that new business opportunities are identified, managed, and closed and to ensure that all sales calls are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business relationships with potential clients by contacting them on a daily basis via phone, email, or both
• Work with the marketing team to ensure that all leads are identified, managed, and closed as quickly as possible
• Maintain existing accounts
• Retaining customers
• Upselling potential clients
• Responding to customer inquiries
• Maintaining a good working knowledge of each account’s products and services
• Analyzing accounts for new opportunities
• Identifying existing customers’ needs
• Identifying potential opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling
• Identifying products or services that can meet each customer's needs and provide additional benefits such as price alternatives, delivery methods, or features

Qualifications:

• MINIMUM of 2 years of experience in the retail flooring industry (or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge in the construction field to some degree. Excellent communication skills (written & oral) required.
• Ability to build rapport with prospects and clients.
• Ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,388.00 - $85,000.00 per year
