Savannah Distributing Company, a leader in the beverage distribution industry and family owned since 1938, is seeking an experienced Wine Field Sales Manager for its Atlanta, GA location. Savannah Distributing offers competitive wages, benefits and excellent company culture.

The Wine Field Sales Manager oversees the company’s wine accounts for the Atlanta Branch location. Field Wine Managers find customers, maintain good relations with them, manage and call on Buyers for all Off-Premise, Chain and On Premise target accounts. Spends an average of 3 days a week working in the markets with our Sales Representatives and alone. Also, conducts in house and location based wine seminars, tastings, and other educational events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develops Base accounts and expands wine business based upon company expectations.
• Work with the individual sales representatives and train them on wine sales and presentation skills
• Work with Key Supplier representatives to focus on priority brands sales and distribution.
• Support the sales representatives with POS and wine sell sheets
• Schedule sales meetings and hold sales training and education for sales force

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

• Wine sales experience in Georgia market preferred.
• Problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to motivate and lead

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a drug screen/ physical & background check.
