The Mazda Sales and Leasing Consultant

*Position Summary: The Mazda Sales and Leasing Consultant is responsible for selling new and used vehicles, assisting customers, prospecting, and meeting customer satisfaction standards.
*Average income earned by sales consultants is $40,000-$70,000+ per year depending on skill level and effort.
*Location: Beaverton, OR
*Position: Full-time with 2 consecutive days off.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking pertinent questions and carefully listening.
Demonstrate new and used vehicles, including test drives.
Properly introduce new customers to the service facilities and to the appropriate service personnel.
Ensure customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and maintenance schedule while laying the foundation for customer loyalty.
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
Keep informed of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.

*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
* Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
* Motivated to succeed, outgoing, personable, and enjoy helping people.
* Proficient computer skills, email, texting, and telephone.
* Positive attitude, team player, good listener, and responsible.
* Have an acceptable background check and drug screening.
* Pass a motor vehicle record check.
* Must present a professional appearance.
*Experience: Sales experience preferred but we are always excited to train the right person!
*Compensation:
Starting 25% commission of gross profit on new and used vehicles.
$250 minimum commission for all sold units.
If commission earnings total less than hourly wage then hourly wage will be paid.
Monthly unit bonus programs and weekly cash spiff programs.
Beginning and end of month bonus programs.
