Full-time Chocolate Shop Salesperson $18/hr + Tips - Estes Park

This position is on site at our Stanley Hotel propertry, located in Estes Park, CO.

The Historic Stanley Hotel located in beautiful Estes Park, CO is seeking experienced sales candidates to manage the guest experience for our Chocolate Shop.

Must be 21+

Must be available to work weekends

JOB OVERVIEW

To coordinate and direct all activities for guests attending The Chocolate Shop and ensure that every guest leaves satisfied and happy with their experience. To perform duties in a competent, knowledgeable, and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY

Strong knowledge and understanding of basic retail staff skills including, but not limited to: service and guest satisfaction, retail sales, displaying initiative and handling guest requests in a timely and professional manner.

Must be able to work on feet for (8) hours or more. Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level, when necessary. Must be able to stoop, climb, bend, pull and push, and be flexible.

Must be able to work any day of the week, 40 plus hours per week, and on weekends, evening, and holidays when necessary.

Must be able to hear and understand verbal directives and communicate the same in a clear concise manner.

Bartending/liquor store experience is a plus

SKILLS NECESSARY

Must be able to work with a variety of personalities.

Must be able to solve complaints and problems.

Must have the ability to pay attention to strict detail and recording procedures. Ability to write legibly and accurately count large sums of money.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The Chocolate Shop Sales position is a working lead position. It is essentially a retail position with demanding leadership efforts and motivational skills. The Chocolate Retail Salesperson is expected to “lead by example”, modeling the standards of exceptional guest experience and values of The Stanley Hotel.
• The Salesperson is expected to lead The Chocolate Shop operations in such a way as to offer excellent guest service.

Chocolate Salesperson:

Must know and support hotel policies and procedures.

Must comply with all safety and security procedures.

Assist staff with all duties if necessary.

Provide a pleasant impression of The Chocolate Shop to guests and ensure the same from staff.

Support management team in hotel operations, including the cultivation of a caring and employee-based work culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
