Job Description

Our Arborist's duties include but are not limited to the following:
SALES

• Responsible for all areas of sales within a defined territory, including selling, marketing, client service.
• Consults with clients to provide the best recommendations.
• Prepares estimates for clients and potential customers.
• Continually prospects for new business.
• Maintain good client relations.
• Maintains a high level of technical knowledge.
• Makes client and prospect visits to diagnose and monitor landscapes * set up crews, supervise work being performed, and complete jobs to clients’ satisfaction * obtain referrals from clients, network, and develop new business * participate in community and industry events such as presentations to horticultural associations, community organizations, garden clubs, trade shows etc.

MARKETING

• Actively participates in professional, trade and/or civic organizations.
• Networks with other green industry businesses.
• Contributes to local office marketing efforts by providing ideas, feedback, and consistent oversight.

ADMINISTRATION

• Obtains signature on all contracts prior to commencement of job(s).
• Complies with company policies and procedures.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• MCA or ISA Certified with 2-3 yrs selling and a proven track record of success in sales.
• Two or Four year degree in a green industry field.
• Regional plant and horticultural knowledge.
• Excellent sales and communication skills.
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized.
• Willing to work with a large group in a dynamic atmosphere.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
