Job Duties:

  • Relevant experience in Construction, Road Building Heavy Equipment Sales and Territory Management.
  • Successful in selling or customer service with commodity type products where you’ve contacted various people at all levels.
  • You must have a unique ability to move quickly from one activity to another while helping customers solve their product needs and problems.
  • You must also be above average at building customer relationships, managing your time and being organized to effectively manage a territory.
  • You’ll be calling on various Contractors especially Concrete contractors in commercial and/or residential at all levels from owners to Project managers, superintendents to field personnel with purchasing authority.
  • You will call on both existing customers as well as “hunt” for new accounts. We have many accounts due to the wide variety of products we sell.
  • You should have a background in selling High Ticket Industrial Products. If you have construction experience or route sales experience, that’s a plus!

Requirements:

  • Outgoing, friendly personality is essential!
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once: from selling OEM parts, to writing-up orders, to handling phone inquiries, to warehousing inventory, to keeping good records all while building great relationships with our customers.
  • High school diploma or GED required in addition to a minimum of 2 years of inside sales, retail or related experience; or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills, and understand mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Refined oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and address a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
