Sales Assistant
As a Sales Assistant at TradePMR, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales and marketing efforts by providing exceptional assistance to our sales team. Reporting to our VP of Business Development, you will contribute to new business development through effective sales and marketing campaigns, attending industry conferences and events, conducting financial demos for our financial platform, and utilizing sales tools such as HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
The ideal candidate will possess mid-level sales and marketing knowledge, be passionate about sales, have a positive attitude and excel at building relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing campaigns aimed at driving new business development.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to represent TradePMR, promote our services, and assist in generating leads.
- Conduct or learn to conduct financial demos of our financial platform for RIAs, effectively showcasing its features and benefits.
- Utilize HubSpot to track and manage sales leads, pipeline activities, and customer interactions.
- Assist the VP of Business Development and sales team in responding to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing prospects questions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and industry professionals to enhance brand awareness and foster business opportunities.
- Collaborate with VP of Business Development to create engaging sales collateral, presentations, and marketing material ideas.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to assist in effectively position TradePMR’s offerings.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing sales reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- 3+years of sales experience ideally in the financial or software space.
- HubSpot experience required, HubSpot certifications preferred.
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience strongly preferred.
- Passion for building relationships.
- Self-starter, quick learner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to present confidently and professionally.
- Assertive and proactive approach to sales and relationship-building.
- Familiarity with conducting financial demos or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry conferences as required.
- Knowledge of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and the financial services industry is a plus, but not required.
