HYATT house is an extended-stay, residential-style hotel that aims to provide individual travelers with the feel of a modern condominium. The 137 room, all-suite property offers comforts of home such as fully equipped kitchens, flat panel HDTVs and free high-speed internet access. The public space features facilities such as a pool, a fitness center, and a business center. A full breakfast every morning and a bar service in the evenings. HYATT house properties are located in urban, airport and suburban locations and can accommodate small corporate meetings and corporate clients seeking to place their employees on extended assignment. Sales Manager Job Overview – HYATT house -
The Sales Manager assists the Director of Sales with sales operations including: soliciting new accounts, prospecting, cold-calling and setting appointments with clients, exploring ways to increase revenue and meet/exceed sales revenue, responding to sales leads and generating/analyzing reports. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Soliciting new accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Sales: prospecting, setting appointments, cold calls, direct sales calls, sales blitzes & hotel tours.
- Maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
- Exploring new ways to increase revenue.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Achieve weekly sales goals.
- Responding to sales leads.
- Find new accounts.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Two to five years outside hotel sales experience.
- Four-year college degree a plus.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Fluent in English – excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in computer skills including PowerPoint.
- Must have great organization and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows & training (limited basis).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet company MVR requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
