ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage client retention, client contract renewal process and ongoing profitability for primarily standard accounts and select complex accounts
- Oversee total account service and build and foster relationships with client contacts to ensure client satisfaction as measured in the annual client satisfaction survey
- Complete and update strategic plans for each client that includes upsell opportunity and present those opportunities to client for implementation
- Oversee the performance management for assigned team, including but not limited to Account Representatives, Account Managers and Senior Account Managers
- Lead and mentor staff to develop skillset further and career potential by maximizing strengths
- Work together with other members of the leadership team, including Executive Sponsors, to develop and implement client strategies and company initiatives
- Liaise with consultants and brokers to manage expectations for client service delivery
- Maintain thorough knowledge of contractual obligations for portfolio clients, including financials, performance guarantees, terms, and reporting/compliance
- Lead internal account team coordination
- Manage client issue escalation
- Manage and deliver in-person and telephonic benefit reviews
- Serve as client subject matter expert for in-depth knowledge of EnvisionRxOptions products and services and communicate them effectively to clients
- Manage client reporting requests through proficient use of company reporting tools
- Lead client calls and delegate and track meeting follow ups
- Provide executive sponsor updates monthly
- Monitor delivery of regularly scheduled reports to ensure timeliness
- Spearhead client-specific reporting calendar as necessary
- Support the sales process by attending best and final presentations as needed
- Coordinate and support benefit fair attendance on behalf of EnvisionRxOptions
- Participate in mandatory company training programs as both presenter and reviewer
- Provide background and strategic insight to internal project teams
- Negotiate and coordinate deliverables for current clients in an RFP situation and manage the discovery and solution development process
- Provide input and market intelligence for development of products, services and competitive positioning on an ad hoc basis
- Promote an environment of collaboration, cooperation, and open communication
- Participate in meetings via phone, in corporate office and off-site locations as required
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable in lieu of degree
- A knowledgeable individual with appropriate industry experience, in the PBM industry
- Previous management experience a plus
- Strong data analysis, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner
- Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues
- An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
- A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail oriented perspective
- A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
- Ability to work with peers in a team effort
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
- Willingness to travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Account Management experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and frequent local and/or overnight travel, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions. This position may be office based or may be home based. If home based, must be able to have an acceptable work at home setup consistent with the guidelines as outlined by EnvisionRxOptions. Mode of transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
