RESPONSIBLITIES:

Makes sales calls to pulp and paper manufacturing, chemical and power plant accounts as required and manages all projects that are assigned.

Plan, coordinates, and implements projects specifically relating to the installation of masonry structures and linings with complete site responsibility for manpower loading, installation quality, project cost and to enforce safety and health requirements for the project.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES OF THE JOB:

Makes sales calls to assigned accounts.

Manages all projects, makes job site visits to inspect and review safety, construction procedures, crew balance and job efficiency, job schedule, equipment, project material inventory, and crew morale.

Oversees the construction or installation of masonry projects in accordance with applicable drawings, job instructions, and accepted masonry practice.

Coordinates communications with customers. All written and verbal communications with our customers must be coordinated by Project/ Account Manager.

Prepares requests for estimates and coordinates with the estimating department to establish crew size and production rates for each project in assigned accounts.

Follows up on all outstanding proposals for assigned accounts and reports on status of proposal.

Controls project costs and schedules.

Requisitions or purchases all essential equipment and supplies required to carry out the work scope.

Oversees the implementation of the STEBBINS corporate and client safety programs, including:

Familiarizes himself / herself and peers with potential hazards associated with the workplace and adjacent areas.

Instructs peers and subordinates in proper safety procedures for the work scope.

Develop and maintain the knowledge of masonry materials and equipment.

Develop and maintain the knowledge for installation of scaffolding required for implementation of the masonry construction.

Attends training and educational programs as requested by Division Manager.

Able to react to change productively to handle other tasks as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,394.73 - $60,690.43 per year
