Job Summary

The Global Sales Director is responsible for managing the sales efforts across multiple geographic regions - overseeing a small team of experienced and longstanding salespeople and creating a work environment where each one can meet or exceed their individual sales quotas. You will also be responsible for developing new markets, negotiating deals with our largest customers, and overseeing successful integrations with our customer products. You will drive a culture of collaboration to think big and execute with clarity and shared purpose across all functions.

Demonstrated skills and experiences:

  • Growing technology sales in a business-to-business market

  • Transforming lead-to-cash processes; this role will be a digital transformation champion - and will partner closely with our corporate Salesforce team

  • Negotiating strategic deals

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies that align with overall company goals

  • Partnering with OEM customers to identify solutions and coordinate with Product Management to deliver on promises

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitive manufacturers or other competitor distributor activities in the region

  • Traveling within U.S. and internationally

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and attend trade shows, roadshows, and user group events; coordinate with OEM partners to exhibit, demonstrate, and sell Trimble technology.

  • Assist with developing our Long Range Plan - form the strategy required to drive long-term success.

  • Make recommendations on product configurations, part numbers, options, and pricing as required to suit OEM partner needs and applications, coordinate with Product Management.

  • Partner with OEM customers to identify solutions and coordinate with Product Management to deliver the solutions

  • Requires domestic & international travel

Pay Equity

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
