As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for helping grow G&W Equipment's footprint in the Greensboro area. The ideal candidates will be a driven professional with a hunter mentality that wants to learn and grow within the materials handling industry.
Key Job Duties include:
- Prospect New Business within defined sales territory.
- Networking and prospecting to drive new sales opportunities to G&W Equipment.
- Identify, meet, and develop a rapport with prospective customers.
- Work with other G&W Equipment team members and departments.
- Analyze sales territory to determine where G&W Equipment product sales are needed and initiate action to improve market share within defined sales territory.
- Develop and implement an aggressive plan to uncover sales opportunities.
- Sell single used trucks, PM agreements, electric, and manual jacks to select accounts.
Requirements
- Entry-level outside sales experience in a similar or related industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Relationship building skills.
- Ability to remain persistent and overcome customer's objections.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, and Excel is required
- General understanding of the sales CRM system
- High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple customers
- Experience cold calling and building relationships by phone and email to generate sales opportunities.
