Quick Overview:

This position is for an Outdoor Sales Project Manager. Every day, you will be scheduled several Sales appointments to visit new potential clients, and you will need to make time in the rest of your day to visit your own on-going projects. You will also need to create time to write estimates in your own home office (laptop, cell phone, and other tech necessary provided including mileage reimbursement or company vehicle). This position requires self discipline and the desire to work independently. Candidate must be comfortable communicating with clients and solving customer concerns in a way that is beneficial for both the client and the company.

An example of what your day might look like is as follows:

9:00 AM – Sales appointment
10:00 AM – Sales appointment
11:00 AM – Sales appointment
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM – Visit on-going project sites, follow up with potential and existing clients
4:00 PM – Create estimates at home

Job Description:

In this position you will utilize your professional education and company-provided training to conduct residential and commercial drainage assessments, site visits, and outdoor sales appointments. Document your findings via photos, written reports and/or site visit summaries. Develop drainage solutions, provide client/customers with recommendations and estimates. Address clients’ questions and concerns during all phases of a project. Conduct Pre-construction Walk-through with Field Supervisor and maintain communication with him/her throughout the construction process. Periodically check the progress of each project as needed, or as directed by management.

Required Skills:

Not Required Skills (but always a plus):

– Engineering, Design or Construction experience
– College education or related trade school training
– Work experience in Land Development or Landscaping
– Project Management experience
