The Account Executive role is responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities. We are seeking a highly motivated and well-spoken individual to research, build, and close the EXCLUSIVE sales pipeline. The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to accelerate prospects through the sales process and exceed quarterly revenue (MRR) targets. In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and work closely with our sales business development team, as well as leadership, to identify digital marketing needs of prospects and present the ideal strategy for their long-term success as an EXCLUSIVE client. The ideal candidate has high energy, a competitive edge, and possesses excellent communications skills. Your ability to quickly assess prospects, track them in [please apply online] and manage your sales pipeline will be vital to your success. You must also be able to quickly learn new digital marketing technologies and communicate those concepts to prospects.


Responsibilities:

  • Own entire sales process from identifying ICP (ideal customer profile) prospects through contract execution
  • Identify and engage with prospects and effectively communicate the value proposition of our digital marketing services
  • Manage and grow pipeline of potential clients through multiple channels: prospects introduced to you by the business development team, sourcing qualified prospects and following up with marketing-generated (inbound) leads, and supplementing your pipeline by sourcing your own qualified prospects
  • Identify prospect’s digital marketing and business needs through a deep discovery process
  • Partner with Exclusive Strategy Team to deliver best in class presentations for high value eCommerce prospects
  • Introduce new clients to EXCLUSIVE’s onboarding and account management team
  • Manage opportunity pipeline through Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and follow up cadences
  • Consistently maintain data integrity on all Salesforce Accounts and Opportunities to ensure dates and all notes are documented
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales for hands-on training, including ecommerce roadmaps, opportunity analyses, marketing proposals, SOWs, negotiating, and closing skills
  • Communicate pipeline directly to VP of Sales for accurate forecasting
  • Consistently achieve quarterly closed revenue goals

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of previous successful digital marketing sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or some college highly preferred
  • Proven record of strong pipeline management and forecasting abilities
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding goals
  • A strong desire to grow your sales career and exceed measurable goals
  • Experience with and ability to navigate digital marketing platforms: Google, Facebook, Amazon
  • Experience with Google ads/analytics, Facebook Ads, Bing Network, etc..
  • Experience with creative production, programmatic

Preferred:

  • Digital Marketing Agency experience
  • Experience with marketing technologies: Klaviyo, Criteo, Yotpo
