Job Description

Rivers Schara Insurance Agency & Yates & Associates is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for the sales and marketing of our commercial insurance products to new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a drive to exceed goals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and prospects.
• Conduct sales presentations to potential clients.
• Follow up on leads from the sales team.
• Follow up with potential clients to confirm interest and obtain an agreement on the coverage package.
• Follow up with potential clients to obtain feedback on the coverage package.
• Respond to claims by providing information; follow up with client through claim process.
• Manage sales database, maintaining current listings of all customers, including new customers, who have signed up for insurance coverage.
• Prepare quotes for prospective customers by reviewing available coverage options, evaluating pros and cons of each option, determining financial requirements, and preparing a proposal for submission to the customer.
• Prepare marketing materials for distribution to prospective clients.
• Manage production schedule, ensuring that production goals are met within budgeted amount of time.
• Maintain current knowledge of policies and products offered by other companies in the industry.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. College students may be considered if they complete a minimum of 15 hours of work experience per week during their first two weeks of employment.

Experience: Minimum one year experience in insurance sales or marketing preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,015.22 - $55,000.00 per year
