Schneider Electric IT Corporation seeks a Director of Strategy in Boston, MA.

Job Description: Shape and drive the overall digital transformation strategy and execution plan for the global Secure Power Division of Schneider Electric. Analyze the divisional infrastructure and existing offers, identify gaps across products and regional footprints. Analyze the company infrastructure and existing offers, identify potential synergies across divisions as well as external partner networks. Collaborate with multiple departments within the company, including customer services, product managers, technical managers, supply chain managers, and sales and commercial teams. Act as an in-house consultant to influence “internal clients” on the best practices in the marketplace and bring insights. Establish work process that can be used and integrated into the organization. Establish a roadmap on digital transformation path to strengthen the company's short-term performance, while meeting the long-term strategic objectives.

Requirements: This position requires a Master degree, or foreign equivalent, in Technical/Engineering Business, Business Administration or a related field, plus 10 years of experience in digital transformation and/or innovation related occupation in the IT/Energy Infrastructure industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Conduct business transformation for organizations in IT, energy infrastructure, or commercial & industrial industry to strengthen short-term performance and long-term strategic objectives; (2) Collecting and analyzing key trends including market, technology, and Voice of Customer, to synthesize implication as well as develop business strategy; (3) Solving complex business problems with quantitative analytic skills such as modeling, and critical thinking strategies; (4) Establishing a detailed strategy plan based on market size/profitability analysis, competitor intelligence, and internal assessment; (5) Project management and collaboration experience working cross-functionally in energy, technology, or professional service sectors; (6) Evaluating and conducting inorganic growth and corporate development options from pipeline building, screening, strategic review, and execution; (7) Working in a global team setting; (8) Energy market dynamics and ecosystem; (9) Utilizing in-depth knowledge and experience in hydrogen, battery, fuel cells and other renewable/mission critical power to assess the energy related customer needs.
