Summary

Provides administrative and logistical support to the sales team. Duties may include order processing/entry, record keeping, and response to customer/dealer inquiries. Generates reports on sales targets related to corporate level programs and promotions, activity, and other related metrics. Trains and supports the sales team on systems, processes, and procedures. Bi literate in English and Spanish is a MUST.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receive, review, and process orders (standard and promotional).
  • Responsible for invoicing orders daily.
  • Check inventory records and pricing for order fulfillment prior to order entry.
  • Enter and confirm orders using a double-check system.
  • Maintain transactional data related to sales order processing in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or AX system.
  • Assist sales in review of documents including but not limited to:
  • International documents to ship orders.
  • Application for new customers.
  • Discount request forms.
  • Credit applications.
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests.
  • Credit memos.
  • Handle process and activities related to parts shipments (Los Angeles branch)
  • Occasional travel may be required, including weekends.

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s Degree from two-year college or technical school; and/or one(1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training in order entry, sales administrative support and/or advance customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills – (Bi-Literate in English & Spanish is a MUST)

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to utilize CRM and ERP systems to generate reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and end-user customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
