SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Sales Representative’s Mission is to work in the field running company leads, referrals, prospecting and cold calling, performing property inspections, signing contracts, meeting insurance adjusters, writing and providing estimates, and formally contracting the job to generate sales and contracted revenue for the company.

The Sales Representative role is broken into 3 areas:

Phase 1 - Prospecting, cold calling, selling, performing property inspections, contingency and/or service agreements, assisting property owners in the insurance claim process after storms and or catastrophic events

Phase 2 - Meeting insurance adjusters, scoping the project, create a formal outline that outline work/damages with the insurance company, formally contracting the job with property owners

Phase 3 - Estimating and supplementing, earning a variety of advanced roofing systems, and how to sell and estimate other relevant exterior and interior trades (siding, gutters, windows, paint, as well as other interior related trades/if applicable). Assisting the company in the collection of any progress payments, and/or final checks from the property owner.

What is expected:

  • Support our Mighty Pledge to homeowners including top dog communication, on-time service, cleanliness, and integrity.
  • Meet directly with homeowners and business owners to inspect and document any storm damage.
  • Create estimates based on industry-specific software, drone footage, and personal inspection of the roof.
  • Ability to present and close restoration agreements.
  • Follow up on leads and generate new ones.
  • Manage the entire customer lifecycle including lead generation, generating customer proposals, job day production oversight, insurance documentation, collection of customer payments, and ensuring job profitability.
  • Ability to set up a ladder and walk a residential or business roof.
  • Ability to pass an FAA Drone exam and achieve license (company paid for).

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate information, changes, feedback on customers, leads and other relevant information to the company, the company CRM, Sales Managers, Coordinators, Field Trainers, and the Owner.
  • Participate in company safety meetings, sales meetings, or training meetings to advance any necessary learning/training to improve as a Sales Associate.
  • Learn Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform. This training is key to our long-term success as an industry Sales Associate.
  • Keep production and accounts receivable department aware of any changes in your jobs, or customer demands, change orders, or other pertinent information.
  • Ensure jobs sold and contacted achieve a minimum gross profit margin of 30%
  • Turn in pay requests on time per the Company pay request/payroll schedule.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Achieve a minimum of $120,000 in monthly contracted sales, that is actual jobs turned into build (during the peak selling months of March to November).
  • Minimum monthly threshold would equate to approximately $1M in revenue in a calendar year. This would be our goal, target and quest of each industry sales associate.

Compensation and bonuses:

  • Paid training - $600/ Week (3 Weeks)
  • Signing bonus - $* 300*
  • Bonus pay - $500 for monthly sales of $100K - $150K
  • Revenue Hold - 10%
  • Commission pay (sales based) Tier 1 (up to - $100K) 35 %

Tier 2 ($100k – 150K) 40%
Tier 3 ($150K Above) 45%

  • First-year average income potential: $85,000-$176,000
  • Uncapped earnings potential
  • Top performers are eligible for promotion to sales supervisor in the second year

Experience:
