Sales Account Manager - Plastics - Southern Ohio
Executive Sales Account Manager Summary
Our client is looking to find hungry sales representatives that can further their growth and expand into the Southern Ohio market. The Executive Account Manager will report to our Executive Sales Manager and will be tasked with achieving agreed sales targets within the company’s Specialty product lines throughout their territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing the business through both direct sales and distributors.
Executive Sales Account Manager Responsibilities
- Selling, marketing, and promoting all the services and products offered by the company within the metalworking fluid industries, as well as other specialty markets.
- Demonstrating the benefits of the company’s product line to customers, ensuring the proper selection and application of product through on-site visits and follow-ups.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude for trouble shooting and trial support at the customer.
- Ensuring sales forecasts and budgets are achieved.
- Managing existing and new accounts, ensuring a superior level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the industry and, in particular, customer needs and requirements.
- Preparing documentation and submissions for Tenders, Expressions of Interest and Requests for Information.
- Managing monthly sales presentation.
- Representing the company in industry events and tradeshows and collaborating with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to prepare for such events.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Travel
- Up to 30% travel within the territory with overnight stays.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business preferred.
- Two years of experience selling industrial consumable products through distribution preferred.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and customer-focused are attitude essential.
- Proven business-to-business sales experience in a technical field strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a territory or region.
- Experience in the metalworking industry and other specialty lubricants markets strongly preferred.
***The chosen candidate will be given a base plus commission compensation package. In addition, a vehicle allowance will also be provided along with other great benefit options!***
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
