Job Description

Trailstone Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency, this means we represent multiple insurance companies (40+). We are not locked into just one insurance company.

We believe we must: Serve our clients to enrich their lives. Our team helps our clients with the heart of a teacher, utilizing the best technology available. We do this providing the right insurance coverage at the best price.

The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience in account management and customer service and be self-motivated, independent and enjoy providing quality customer service. We will provide training and instruction as needed but will not be micromanaging your work and there is the possibility of working from home for the right individual.

Trailstone Insurance Group uses unique automated technology to take care of the basic insurance requests such as Auto ID cards, EOI changes, etc., this allows our account managers to focus on taking care of clients and advising them on insurance issues. Our systems and process mean you won't be doing the mundane, boring data entry most insurance agencies have Account Managers do.

Compensation is a base with incentives to maintain /grow books of business as well as the growth of the agency. Once you are confident and comfortable with our systems and process, you will be given the opportunity to take on more books of business, your compensation will grow accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients through email, phone and chat messaging as needed.
• Endorse policies for clients as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with our existing client base.
• Prepare and discuss quotes for new and existing customers.
• Document customer interactions in agency management software.

Requirements

• Property and casualty insurance license is required- with at least 2-years of insurance service or sales experience on the personal lines side.
• Working knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Office products, Dropbox, Customer Management Software.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening.
• Willingness to learn and be coached.
• Able to work full time- typically 9-5, there is some flexibility on schedule.
• 5 Days a week in office to start.
• Hybrid - Your choice of being in office 2-5 days a week after you have met certain requirements.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
