Business Development Manager/Regional Sales – Dedicated Truckload/Dry Van

Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager/Regional Sales professional to join our sales team. The BDM/RSM (individual contributor) will add value by developing new business acquisitions and expansions with an existing portfolio of customers. A key focus will be enhancing strategic customer relationships to gain competitive market share in the Truckload/Dry Van market space.

***This role is remote-based in the Southeast U.S. (Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Northern Florida) for the right candidate with proven career success in dedicated transportation (truckload/dry van) sales. This opportunity offers competitive base salary + incentive + benefits package.

What’s needed for success:

· Proven/prior success selling dedicated (truckload/dry van) transportation solutions.

· Understand the ATS value proposition and be able to articulate to customers.

· Increases the customer/shipper base by contacting existing, inactive and/or potential customers to secure business while tracking activity in the CRM.

· Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a cold calling environment and have a high degree of autonomy in order to generate results from prospecting activities.

· Understand market trends and customer strategy development in order to differentiate ATS Inc. as the premier transportation partner of choice in the industry.

· Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure value-added products and services are sold in the market.

· Travel as needed for sales/customer visits and sales meetings.
