We are growing and looking for a dedicated Property & Casualty insurance producer to join our independent and local insurance agency in Canton, TX. As a producer at an independent insurance agency, your financial destiny is limited only by yourself. As an independent P&C insurance agent, you will be required to do the following:

● Act as a consultant for families and businesses evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs

● Utilize our Agency software and document all transaction and customer interactions
● Generate leads by referral and community input
● Interview potential clients who have expressed interest in buying insurance in order to collect relevant data about their financial status and existing coverage.
● Explain the ins and outs of various policies to potential new customers and existing clients
● Analyze the policies held by current clients and determine suggested additions or changes to their coverage
● Establish productive working relationships with clients in order to develop a base for long-term client retention
● Complete coverage by delivering policy, planning future follow up visits for evaluation of needs
● Participate and promote at community events
● Take care of existing clients’ policy renewals
● Communicate directly with underwriters to build a custom insurance solution specific for the individual client’s needs.
● Help policyholders settle their pending claims and sort out issues with their insurance

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications.
● Property & Casualty Insurance License Required

Base salary plus commission. Average Income $45,000 - $55,000 for position first year.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
