Full description of the position

Job Description: Market Analyst/Sales Lead Management - Texas Region (Applicant must reside in the State of Texas)

We are seeking a Marketing Analyst/Sales Lead Management professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for generating qualified sales leads for the company’s civil sales, environmental services, engineering services, and geofabrication sales teams. The Marketing Analyst/Sales Lead Management professional will also be responsible for examining data related to sales and marketing efforts, tracking analytics of sales campaigns, and monitoring competitive activity.


This role reports to the Director of Marketing and includes the following responsibilities:

Sales Lead Management:

  • Mine lead generation services to identify opportunities for value-added solutions pre- and post-bid.
  • Work with departmental managers/directors to define needs at the territory/departmental level and identify key opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Engineered Solutions to identify key products/solutions for large projects and establish communication/meeting routines to ensure opportunities are properly qualified and result in tangible pursuits.
  • Update the Director of Marketing/Leadership routinely on lead generation progress and manage new leads and leads in qualification within the company CRM leads pipeline.
  • Track sales directly (and indirectly) tied to marketing campaigns and/or sales lead identification and capture within company CRM and report results to the Director of Marketing.

Marketing Campaign Management & Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with Directors of Sales and Marketing to identify key marketing campaigns for a given quarter and calendar year.
  • Create and manage internal/external, company and territory-specific email campaigns through our automation software.
  • Grow marketing through new ideas and projects supporting company goals and successfully implementing said ideas, all within annual operating budget.
  • Update and maintain print and digital marketing files and database.
  • Manage exhibit and tradeshow opportunities and materials.
  • Participate in select trade conferences to identify opportunities for improved engagement by company participants and/or enhance company presence at future events.
  • Create, edit and proofread copy, including press releases, social media content, website content, and marketing material content.
  • Manage social media outlets through routine product updates, project highlights, company news, personnel highlights/work anniversaries, video spotlights, etc.
  • Coordinate company monthly webinar series and other e-Learning promotional programs.
  • Create a clearinghouse for promotional materials centered around the company brand.
  • Assist with campaign build-out and maintenance for paid advertising.
  • Create and execute internal marketing, including basic graphic design and copywriting.

Vendor Partner Engagement:

  • Interact routinely with key vendors to identify means and methods to identify/share and forward sales leads to relevant company sales team members.
  • Define, construct, and implement sales lead sharing system unique to each key vendor.
  • Track and report sales leads identified by each key vendor and report results accordingly.
  • Establish a meeting rhythm with key vendors to track progress and opportunities for improved sales lead identification and tracking.
  • Interact routinely with company sales staff to identify vendor, products, and/or market opportunities to drive promotional effort from key vendors and report results to the Director of Marketing as needed.

Market Analytics & Executive Leadership Support:

  • Research and report on industry standards and trends as related to marketing.
  • Collaborate with key vendors to determine how they track and interpret market trends and how those trends impact future decision making.
  • Track key market indicators as identified by leadership on a historical basis to determine future trends and report results accordingly, as needed.
  • Become proficient in report generation through company sales reporting and inventory management system (Acctivate).


The Marketing Analyst will be expected to achieve and exceed these targets on a regular basis.

Marketing Campaign Management & Marketing Support: The Marketing Analyst will be evaluated based on the success of their marketing campaigns and the growth of the company's contact database. They will also be assessed based on their ability to create effective marketing collateral and promotional tools that support the company's sales efforts.

Vendor Partner Engagement: The Marketing Analyst will be measured on their ability to successfully engage with key vendors and identify and share sales leads with the relevant company sales team members. They will also be evaluated based on their ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendor marketing personnel.

Market Analytics & Executive Leadership Support: The Marketing Analyst will be assessed based on their ability to provide valuable insights and reports related to industry trends and sales opportunities. They will also be expected to become proficient in report generation through the company's sales reporting and inventory management system and work with reporting consultants to generate historical sales data for company leadership.

Overall, the successful candidate for this position will have strong analytical skills, be highly organized, and be able to work collaboratively with various teams and vendors. They will be expected to meet and exceed specific metrics related to lead generation, marketing campaign success, vendor engagement, and market analytics.
