Now Hiring - Savannah College of Art and Design - Director, SCAD Art Sales in Atlanta, GA

As director of SCAD Art Sales, you will lead outreach and sales development, attend events, and manage the implementation of projects while tracking results. As the director, you will manage the logistics of all project installations, communicate sponsored project categories, guidelines, and structure to external partners, and undertake special projects and assignments as directed. You will cultivate contacts in Atlanta communities and organizations to create and maintain an affinity for SCAD. You will be responsible for coordinating and host meetings with partners, collaborating with internal SCAD teams to generate leads, make sales, and increase the awareness of SCAD.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to sell fine art and/or university services such as SCADpro to high end clients, pitching and securing contracts to achieve quarterly sales goals

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in art history, museum studies, or art-related field
• Strong sales experience of at least three years and management experience with complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization skills with attention to detail and experience creating and delivering professional presentations
• Customer service oriented with the ability to be a creative and adaptive problem solver

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.A., or M.F.A
• 3-5 years of experience in a result-driven environment, museum, or gallery
• Background in art consultancy
• SCAD graduate
• Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite experience
• B2B sales experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

• Valid driver’s license
• Passport

Travel Required: 20-40%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and hours, including weekends and evenings.
