As an Entry Level Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in our retail locations, promoting and selling a wide range of technology products and services to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the right technology solutions to meet their needs, while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales skills and gain experience in the dynamic retail technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing outstanding service throughout their shopping experience. Actively listen to customers' needs, offer product recommendations, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the technology products and services offered by the store. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in order to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and specifications to customers.
- Sales and Upselling: Utilize your product knowledge to effectively demonstrate the value and benefits of various technology products and services. Actively engage customers in a retail location, identify their needs, and make personalized recommendations. Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Point-of-Sale Operations: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods while adhering to all cash handling and security procedures.
- Product Support: Provide basic technical assistance and troubleshooting for customers. Refer complex technical issues to appropriate support channels.
- Sales Targets and Goals: Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets. Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance metrics and goals set by the store management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Strong passion for technology products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to sales, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $700.00 - $900.00 per week
