Contractor Outside Sales -- Crum Electric Supply (Salt Lake City) has an opening for an Outside Sales Representative. Primarily interact with electrical contractors. This self-directed, results-driven individual will maintain and generate business by providing quality products, solving customer issues and streamlining their processes. The position requires knowledge of electrical products and applications.

What you need for this position:

• Ability to establish customer rapport, build business relationships and negotiate both with customers and manufacturers.
• Competitive nature and strong sales attitude
• Past electrical experience either with a contractor or wholesaler
• Time management, execution and organizational skills are necessary to be successful
• Must be able to learn products, sales processes, and systems
• Pre-employment drug screening required

What you'll be doing:

• Build customer relationships by providing complete solutions with quality products and competitive pricing
• Engage as a partner with your customers, seeking insight into existing and future opportunities
• Prospect and expand our customer base
• Be a hunter, always seeking out the next order
• Strong communication with the branch team, so they can execute the orders you land
• Sell on service, don’t chase the low price
• Become your customer’s preferred supplier
