THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sales Support Representative (SSR) position will be responsible for achieving monthly sales targets as well as processing orders and assisting our Product Support Representatives (PSRs). This position requires specific industry know of heavy truck parts and parts sales processes. Parts Journeyperson background preferred.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the sale of parts and service to all customers via our PSRs
• Provide exceptional customer service to maximize customer satisfaction
• Must be available to receive PSR calls, emails, and/or chats to assist with parts lookup and place orders on behalf of the PSRs and customers
• Process parts invoices for customer transactions communicated by PSRs
• Utilize PACCAR systems and industry tools to identify part numbers via diagrams and schematics
• Validate internal and external inventory from our supply base
• Keep documentation of conversations and update parts related information as needed
• Work with local branches and PACCAR entities to source critical or back-ordered parts for over-the-counter transactions
• Stay informed on all new products and industry updates through continuous learning
• Maintain shift hours between 8AM -7PM Pacific Standard Time, depending on the location of the candidate (with a maximum of 8 hours)

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Post-secondary diploma or trade certification preferred
• Four or more years of related experience in truck parts sales (journeyperson level preferred)
• Prior parts counter sales experience or parts/warehousing knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others
• Ability to self-manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong business ethics and professionalism
• Must have valid driver’s license

COMPENSATION

The compensation structure for this position is base salary + commission (DOE).
