What is a typical work day?
1. Customer Account Manager (is the external title) Heavy customer communication, but there is more internal communication with operations, shared services, and program management.
2. Mini Program Manager – this role is managing the repair process for customers that L3Harris made.
3. Where is the item, what does need, send quotes back to the customer, once a PO received then have to ensure the project is delivered to shop floor, repairs start, then initiate purchase of questions.
4. This is more day to day then long range planning.
5. There is a Program Manager that does the long range planning and they get input from the Customer Account Manager for the day to day.
6. This isn’t a role for a customer service representative, this is an account management role that needs to manage the entire process.
Must- Haves (Hard Skills)
- Broad knowledge of customer service, order management, and project management in a defense contractor environment
- Results driven, solution oriented, with growth mindset and characteristics
- Self-motivated, analytical, and strong data analysis capabilities
- Very detail-oriented while working multiple programs and issues daily
- Demonstrated success working in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communications
- Experience with ERP business systems
- Experience with the Microsoft Suite of applications
Job Description:
Responsible for managing Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) orders and coordinating with the repair team to meet customer requirements and on-time delivery goals. Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans. Analyze processes, identifies problems, and develop recommendations to for improvement to meet customer requirements. Work closely with Customers, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, Contracts, Finance, and Business Development team members. Analyze data from multiples sources for trends and predictive conclusions, providing insight for planning and forecasting decisions. Complete routine report outs for orders, revenue, operating income, and other performance metrics. Participate in the development of business intelligence tools.
Essential Functions:
- Repair order management in alignment with manufacturing procedures and work instructions
- Customer communications for sales, order management, material management, scheduling, and order fulfillment
- Internal communication and project management for scheduling, order fulfillment, and issue resolution
- Contract and Purchase Order management
- MRO business analysis and reporting
- Estimate at Completion (EAC) management, forecasting, and estimating
- Export control for international business
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: Up to $43.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Alpharetta, GA 30004: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- defense contracts: 3 years (Preferred)
- ERP business systems: 3 years (Preferred)
- VLOOKUP, formulas, macro enabled workbooks: 3 years (Preferred)
- forecasting tools like CRM, Power BI, Tableau: 3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Suite of applications: 3 years (Preferred)
