Overall Purpose: The Lead Sales Compensation Consultant is responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of the Management Compensation plans, while providing consultative support to the AT&T Sales Organizations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides consultation or expert advice to HR partners and internal business unit clients for compensation problem solving, at the individual employee to business unit levels.
- Provides consultation on the application of company compensation strategy, policies, programs, and communications.
- This employee has the authority to formulate, affect, interpret or implement recommendations regarding the development of company policy, salary structures, and job revisions.
- Responsible for pay structure market pricing of sales positions.
- This position works with complex business units and issues to create sales compensation solutions.
- Conduct job evaluations to determine internal leveling, pay structure alignment, FLSA classification, and job description content.
- Analyze proposed salary adjustments related to internal job movement, for appropriate outcomes based on established guidelines, policies and practices.
- Responsible for sales compensation plan design governance and internal client advisement
- Responsible for interpreting and administering the AT&T Management Compensation Plan
- Considered Subject Matter Expert (SME) position.
- May provide training or mentoring to less experienced staff and may provide feedback for the evaluation of new staff.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in Compensation (administering comp plans, conducting market analysis and consulting with internal clients).
- Specific experience with Sales Compensation preferred
- Strong excel, Power Point, and systems utilization skills
- Deep consultative experience
Our Lead Sales Compensation Consultants earn between $106,100 - $159,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
