Responsibilities:
- Utilize the company ERP system to enter sales orders utilizing system recommended discounts and pricing.
- Determine best delivery methods for each customer order based on customer needs and most economical methods.
- Prepare and respond to customer requests for pricing and availability quotes
- Utilize the company ERP software to create part-item numbers and updating of bill of materials.
- Know and understand our e-Commerce website to proficiently navigate new and existing customers though our site.
- Coordinate and complete orders from walk-in customers by entering the orders into the computer system.
- Assist will-call customers in selecting correct material and products based upon needs. Help stage customer material.
- Assist in billing, making sure purchase orders match that of the Acknowledgment.
- High school diploma or general education degree and 1-year related sales and/or customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic personal computer skills, email, and office software (MS Office).
