We are currently looking for an Outside Telecommunications Account Manager. Account Manager will be essential in the achievement of branch sales goals through the development of new telecommunications accounts throughout the territory assigned. Seeking someone with experience in voice service, phone system and IT solution sales. Knowledge of relationship networking is a must. Our candidate must be motivated, energetic and dynamic. Knowledge of NEC systems, Univerge Blue and Sangoma systems a plus. Candidate must be able to identify, target and develop new accounts to increase market share. Ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations by managing accounts with professionalism in order to develop excellent business relationships.
The account manager will be responsible for establishing and actively prospecting for new accounts, and for maximizing sales potential with existing customers. The account manager will be responsible for the sales of telecommunications services and products provided by the company including but not limited to; NEC Premise systems, Univerge Blue, Sangoma.
Key Job Factors
· Identify, target, and develop new accounts to increase market share.
· Meet or exceed quota by assessing the needs of new and existing business customers and develop appropriate action plans to close the sale.
· Effectively utilize resources to solve issues and create solutions to respond to the business needs of the customer.
· Ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations by managing accounts with professionalism in order to develop excellent business relationships.
· Identify new partnership opportunities
· Manage sales pipeline, including consistently updating our CRM
· Conduct on-site or virtual presentations that promote the image of our company and the products and services we represent
· Keep current on advancements in technology and industry standards
· Communicate effectively with senior management, sales team, operations, and support staff
· Understanding of common telecommunications terms and standards
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Various manufacturer certifications are preferable but not required
· Aggressively grow service and maintenance agreements as part of solutions selling process
· Present customized solutions for prospective clients
· Prepare timely and accurate solutions proposals to clients
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, project management or related field of study
· Minimum of seven (7) years of outside sales experience in selling related to telecommunications networks
· Thorough understanding of the telecom industry
· Organized and analytical decision-making capabilities
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically plan sales calls, sales presentations, and cold calling
- Proven track record of excellence in sales activity using consultative sales techniques
- Highly motivated and customer service oriented
- Superior, world class interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
- Ability to leverage social media and professional networks (i.e., LinkedIn) to prospect and follow up with consistency and attend professional networking and community events when appropriate
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, manage deadlines and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally
- Proficient in web-based applications and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries and presentation materials

- Experience using a formal, defined sales process
- Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
