Job purpose
The Telemarketing Specialist will have the unique and rewarding responsibilities for building relationships with prospective clients as well as existing clients. This individual must be a strong communicator and confident in answering questions and explaining our services to existing clients as well as comfortable in prospecting new clients and building excitement around the World Class experience we provide as the World’s Largest Furniture Store.
Essential Functions and responsibilities

- Lead appointment generation for new and existing clients.
- Take the initiative to learn about the company and grow within the role.
- Ensure each prospective client and potential customer has a positive experience with our company.
- Demonstrate a professional and pleasant disposition with each prospect.
- Comfortable with high volume outbound calling.
- A pleasant speaking voice when engaging with prospects and customer.
- Contacting clients from existing client databases.
- Creating creative solutions to source new clients.
- Scheduling meetings between a prospective client and a sales representative.
- Follow up and tracking of all booked appointments (Make, keep and maintain appointments).
Required Skills and Competencies

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency and comfort using computers and other technology.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associates or Bachelor degree in Communications or Marketing
- Three to five years in client relations, customer service, or prospecting of clients.
Working conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
