Account Manager - Industrial Water Treatment in Sioux City, IA
We are currently seeking a proven, high-energy and self-motivated professional water treater with the ability to manage key accounts and emerging markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Understanding of water treatment stability goals in the industrial market
- Capability to interpret chemical analysis and translate into actional items for contractual requirements
- Proficiency in performing and understanding all analytical tests and calibration routines, service web site account management, Legionella requirements, best practice for ASME, ABMA, AWWA an AWT for water treatment programs.
- Determining onsite support, equipment, parts and training for customer team support for contract requirements
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems for customers on-site at customer locations.
- Providing training for customer teams as well as high level client groups in the goals of water treatment and water stability indices.
- Coordinate status updates for key accounts
- Set control ranges and targets for water treatment programs, to include setting KPI’s
- Clearly demonstrate a safety mindset in actions, performance, discussions, and reports.
- Site surveys to assist sales teams in technical review.
- Coordinating with service technicians to optimize applications or resolve service calls issues in a timely manner.
- Keeping up to date with all Technical and Operational skills pertaining to this position, including all applicable safety procedures while meeting end customer requirement and expectations.
Qualification Preference:
- Preferable to have a Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing or other technical discipline
- Required minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment
- Strong computer skills, to include Excel, Netsuite, PowerPoint
- Strong technical, cognitive ability to logically troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Clear and professional communication with technical topics.
- Ability to comply with all safety, health, environmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in multiple environments, indoor/outdoor in variety of industries
- Extensive knowledge of water treatment chemistry and program choices.
- Willing to travel. Likely travel to other states for projects and regional support
- Proven organizational, time management skills, demonstrating ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, ability to initiate and drive projects.
- Proven ability to speak effectively before groups and customers, clients, and other employees within the organization.
- Ability to practice safe driving
- Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects in a sales environment via strong technical support.
- Ability to make good business decisions based on risk reward analysis and Water Engineering’s business objectives

This is not a starting position. Experience in water treatment is required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
