Senior Sales Account Executive – Outside Sales
As a Senior Sales Account Executive, be part of a dynamic sales team, driving advertising revenue for one of the country's largest privately-owned media companies. What you'll be doing:
- Maximize your sales goals by prospecting new business and developing existing accounts to grow our clients’ overall brand.
- Meet with local decision-makers to uncover and understand their business needs and goals.
- Mentor clients to utilize our client’s comprehensive product mix, including digital ads, search, social, email, video, mobile, and print solutions. Our client offers digital strategy training and techniques, to maximize your sales efforts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design custom advertising solutions and marketing campaigns to fit your clients' needs.
- Present solutions to clients, working collaboratively to achieve the product mix aligned to their goals.
- Build rapport with clients for retention and upselling.
- Review campaign results, learn from data, and celebrate your successes.
- Work with our advertising fulfillment team to provide performance data insights for each client’s campaign.
- Organize your day, pivoting to various sales activities so you continuously build your client pipeline, and work under deadlines.
- Use your self-motivation and resilience to persevere through the cold-calling process.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education with related experience
- Experience in digital advertising is a plus
- Proven success of increasing sales, meeting and exceeding quotas, in a competitive marketplace, using a solution-based selling approach
- Media sales in the following areas: Digital Sales, Medical, or Outside Retail Sales industries
- Ability to control the sales process both virtually and in-person
- Skills to effectively negotiate and close sales with our client’s products
- Creative mindset to break down barriers and overcome objections
- Excellent communication skills -- to write, create, and deliver compelling presentations, with a polished demeanor
- Familiarity with CRM sales management software experience, ideally Salesforce (Customer will provide training)
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in PowerPoint & Excel, to create presentations and review data
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Range, plus commission
