Summary:

The Vice President Global Sales is responsible for all revenue development for worldwide product and services sales. This individual will provide commercial and technical support to customers, Airgain Channels, Sales and Marketing teams to create new revenue as assigned. The Vice President Global Sales owns the strategy and execution to develop, maintain and create new sales channels as the business dictates. The role will work with both new and existing customers as assigned. Technical and commercial understanding of the product development process for IoT product is required. Other Duties as assigned by the President of Airgain.

Essential Function:

  • Lead and own global revenue development across Airgain’s family of products
  • Work directly with Airgain sales channel partners, Distributors, MNO (Mobile Network Operators), Carriers and other partners to support new and existing opportunities
  • Develop Airgain sales process, forecasting strategy, and go to market plan with correct stakeholders
  • Train and support Airgain’s internal and external selling teams on how to successfully position, sell and generate new revenue for Airgain product and service offerings
  • Define Marketing Qualified Leads, Sales Qualified Leads and potentials, and CRM processes to support the sales process
  • Develop sales team incentive plans to align with company metrics and goals
  • Create performance matrix to reward and develop teams on a year-over-year basis
  • Use the Airgain CRM system to track deal progress through the Airgain sales process
  • Apply commercial and technical experience to close deals with team and partners
  • Develop process for managing Airgain partner relationships and programs
  • Drive QBRs, contribute to joint sales and marketing strategic planning and execution
  • Collaborate with peers within Product, Finance, Operations, Marketing to drive company revenue
  • Contribute directly to product roadmaps and product development
  • Provide Business development insights as directed across Airgain product and services segments for customers and competitors
  • Evaluate new business segments, micro verticals, partners and platforms to sell with or as lead generation potentials for Airgain solutions
  • Other activities as assigned
Requirements:
  • 15+ years professional management of technical sales/marketing teams and programs
  • Technical understanding of the embedded product development process
  • Advanced customer interaction and relationship management skills with Engineering and Senior Executive levels
  • Prior experience with domestic and international network operators
  • Experience with geographically distributed development and team interaction
  • Experience with defining and achieving internal metrics to deliver on strategic objectives
  • Experience building winning teams
  • Grow the team through identification and development of internal and externally recruited talent Able to travel (50%)
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Microsoft and G Suite tools required

California:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $220,000 to $250,000.

Our salary ranges are determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the role, location, job-related skills, relevant education, experience and training.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire base salary for the position across all US locations and varies by the location of the position. Our Talent team member can share more about our salary ranges and other benefits of working at Airgain, which are not included in the posted base salary range.
