Our firm represents a solar company in one of the largest, home improvement, big box retail stores, and we are hiring for multiple retail locations in the area. Solar is one of the fastest growing industries, and not only benefits the environment, but improves your home's value, and lowers your utility bill. We are looking for self motivated, goal driven candidates, who love to talk to others to join us in promoting solar!

In this role our highly skilled training managers will train the right candidates on our solar products and services, and how to best set our free appointments for potential customers. As an appointment setter you will simply approach shoppers in the store to see if they know about solar, and try to set them up with a free appointment to learn more. Our appointment setting practices aid our consultants, as to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction for our loyal customers. Our sales consultants will then meet with the potential customers to actually sell them the products and services. This is a great entry level position, an easy job for people who love to talk with others, and an excellent first step into the sales field.

This is a fully in person role. You will be standing and walking for long periods of time, so candidates must be comfortable to do so.

Responsibilities

• Approach shoppers in the store to see if they'd like to learn more about solar, and set them up with a free appointment with one of our sales consultants
• Get guests contact information and input it into the system to set them up with a free appointment
• Strive to turn every interaction into an appointment set
• Maintain excellent customer service skills
• Attend meetings and training on products and services

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable approaching and engaging with shoppers in store
• Absolutely must have a drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work
• High school diploma or GED required, must be 18+ in age
• Must be ambitious, self motivated, and excited to hit individual and team sales goals
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors to complete required tasks to promote company growth
• Have a passion for talking and engaging with people daily
• Be able to maintain and uphold the brand in a professional manner every day
• Be excited to learn and retain knowledge on our products and services
