Responsibilities:
- Connect with high school coaches and athletic directors, utilizing your athletic background or sports knowledge to establish meaningful relationships and generate sales opportunities.
- Promote and sell 1st Place Spiritwear's extensive range of high-quality products, including custom team apparel, accessories, and equipment, to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the exceptional quality, style, and customization options of our spirit wear products.
- Understand the unique needs and goals of coaches and athletic directors, providing personalized recommendations and solutions that align with their program's vision.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of 1st Place Spiritwear's product offerings, pricing, and promotions to effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing, on-time delivery, and exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and effective sales techniques to continuously enhance your sales strategies and achieve outstanding results.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using our advanced CRM software.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance your product knowledge and sales skills.
- Represent 1st Place Spiritwear at trade shows, industry events, and other marketing initiatives to contribute to the expansion of our brand and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Strong athletic background or a genuine passion for sports, bringing an understanding and appreciation for the competitive nature of athletics.
- Enthusiasm and knowledge about various sports and the spirit wear industry, allowing you to connect authentically with coaches, athletic directors, and sports enthusiasts.
- Confidence and effective communication skills to engage with decision-makers and build lasting relationships.
- Self-motivation, goal orientation, and a results-driven mindset to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous sales experience, especially in the sports industry or a related field, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- High School diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
