Job Summary:

As Director of Business Development in the mid-west region for Ledcor Technical Services your responsibilities will include achieving client, regional and service-specific growth objectives by developing and executing on a multi-year account plan. This includes building and managing relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors within the Telecommunications industry.

[please apply online] Essential Responsibilities:

  • Researches and identifies new business within the Telecommunications industry for Ledcor Technical Services within the Midwest Region.
  • Builds and manages those relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners and vendors
  • Guides the business on existing partnerships and sales efforts with a vision to build on what works and a mindset to provide alternatives for what may need improvement
  • Will be engage with tracking emerging markets and trends by staying current with industry news, products, services, competitors and relevant information about legacy, existing and emerging technologies.
  • Will be the key person who will provide skillful advice to the leadership team regarding product development and distribution strategies within Telecommunications
  • Will champion negotiations with master service agreements while working directly with the LTS Business Operations team as well as the Estimating team to close the deal
  • Delivers and supports an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) and across the business and functional areas by identifying and recommending new services to LTS leadership, along with proposing and developing partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Ten plus years of experience working in the U.S. in a business development/sale engineering role within the Telecommunications Industry (experience within the Midwest region is preferred)
  • Broad scope of unyielding knowledge of the Telecommunications industry (with preference of both wireline and wireless)
  • A solid background in developing, nurturing and sustaining client relationships
  • Has the knowledge to determine priorities in order to deliver consistently successful results
  • An accomplished individual with sales experience in Telecommunications, Network Operations, Engineering or Marketing
  • Ability to work from home office and travel up to 50% of the time
