Summary
We are looking for an experienced account manager to join our team. You will be mainly responsible for finding and qualifying leads and building strong relationships with key strategic accounts. As a strategic manager, you should be organized, have strong presentation and communication skills, able to develop strategies around a client, and finally have the persistence and patience to nurture these relationships and negotiate successful agreements. Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand Impact Parks Vision and Mission and Approach;
- Identify and Research potential clients and prospects;
- Identify, track, and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline;
- Take qualified leads and develop a strategy around them to become a client;
- Develop and maintain client relationships including strategic partnerships to grow business;
- Coordinate with internal team to develop mutually beneficial proposals and presentations;
- Prepare and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives;
- Drive end to end sales process;
- Update direct report on status of prospects, clients, proposals;
- Develop & nurture relationships to maximize long-term value
- Take a proactive approach to account management by maintaining an active target and prospect list of target accounts.
- Build a pipeline of business to achieve sales objectives
- Maintain accurate records and regularly update CRM with key activities and learnings about customers;
- Provide necessary technical support and reporting.
- Assist in preparation and negotiation of contracts
Education and/or Experience
Requires a minimum of 7-years experience in working with philanthropic organizations, corporate giving, raising capital, and making dynamic presentations. Demonstrated ability to pursue and qualify leads while managing accounts with these types of organizations is required while experience with putting together proposals for capital, and examples of communicating need and solutions is beneficial and preferred.
Travel
This position will require moderate (35%-50%) travel.
Computer Skills
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
Expectations
- Develop and maintain pipeline;
- Manage and facilitate the execution of agreements with direct report and Contracts team;
- Follow up on leads, and identify and develop new business opportunities
- Drive incremental sales and revenue growth through new account acquisition
- Develop and maintain strong relations with key decision makers.
- Coordinate and attend necessary tradeshow, meetings and related promotional events
- Develop update reports and input into CRM;
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals
- Manage and grow identified account target list
