SALES MANAGER JOB SUMMARY
Are you an experienced Sales Manager looking to join a successful restaurant company and grow your career? Prime Hospitality Group (PHG) is seeking a Sales Manager to join the Ruth's Chris Steak House team.
This role successfully books a high volume of repeat catering and private dining space events within the restaurant as well as pursues off-site catering opportunities within in each market segment. Consider this exceptional opportunity!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SALES MANAGER
- Coordinates and arranges all details of each event to ensure guest satisfaction, confirming with the guest continuously throughout the sales and execution of the sale
- Communicates with key FOH and BOH managers to ensure the entire restaurant team is in a position to deliver unparalleled dining service in accordance with all operating guidelines, standards, policies, procedures, and PHG values.
- Actively networks and promotes the brand within the community
- Strives for constant improvement by achieving or exceeding budgeted labor and other cost centers through proper planning and execution
REQUIREMENTS FOR A SALES MANAGER
- At least 3 years of previous sales experience in a restaurant and hotel operation
- Ability to write business correspondences and set up contracts and function sheets
- Ability to professionally present promotional materials to prospective customers, and to effectively communicate and coordinate with catering, kitchen staff, and outside vendors
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts for guest catering contracts
