Position objective:

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious sales manager to join our team! As a vital member of the Wholesale department, this person will grow sales by using their expertise to train the sales team, improve results, exceed goals, and develop strategies to increase profitability. The right candidate will have a proven track record as a top trainer and manager of a team of sales associates. This person will be an effective leader and have a proven track record of sales success. We are looking for a hardworking, honest person who would like to make a career of growing our Wholesale team and our organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize Barco's approved sales and service techniques
• Develop and execute new strategies to increase market share and profitability
• Train sales associates to implement cutting edge skills to reach new levels of success
• Use analytical skills to identify trends and apply it to employee training
• Train team to overcome obstacles, close sales, and build relationships with buyers that last
• Assist with any other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of five years' experience as a self-motivated sales manager
• Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills both verbal and written
• Meets sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the team
• Solid computer experience including Microsoft office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word), Internet, and CRM
• Must have a "can do" attitude
• Ability to lead others to achieve new levels of success
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Adaptability/flexibility to change as company requires

Languages: English fluency required

Training/Education required: Bachelor's degree with high level of analytical experience and skill

Working Conditions: Primarily office environment

Hours of work: Monday - Friday

Travel: required: Very limited, if any
