The role of the Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) is to work the with branch managers to drive parts and service sales with current customers as well as find new opportunities in your assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities
- Grow revenue of OEM/Aftermarket Parts, Ground Engaging Tools, Undercarriage, and other areas of opportunity
- Make cold calls to potential clients and grow the business through new customer acquisition
- Provide solutions for “All Makes” Parts and Service needs
- Prepare and present quotes for Parts and Service related items to customers for approval
- Follow up on the sale of attachments and machines to establish a point of contact with customers for future needs
- Quote, invoice, order, and return parts
- Collaborate with Parts managers on Stock Orders as needed
- Create/Maintain a comprehensive equipment profile of each customer’s on-site equipment.
- Build a customer contact profile, detailing the key contacts and decision makers within the company
- Prepare equipment inspection reports on customer equipment
- Log all calls to customers in Salesforce CRM daily
- Meet or exceed goals set by management
Secondary Responsibilities
- Promote any Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Parts, Sales and Service Promotions
- Assist in Preventative Maintenance Service Contract writing and sales
- Sell extended warranties or warranty renewals prior to expiration
- Pickup/Deliver parts to your customers as needed and agreed upon
- Collect payment on delinquent customer accounts
- Drive leads to other departments for follow up as needed
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in the Heavy Equipment Industry
- Experience working in a dealership environment preferred
- Prior PSSR experience is a plus
Required Requisites
- Knowledge of Heavy Equipment Parts and operating principals.
- Knowledge of Undercarriage components and measuring techniques.
- Experience with Ground Engaging Tools (Bucket Teeth, Edges, Side cutters, Rippers, etc.)
- Excellent ability to stay organized and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be a goal oriented, driven, self-starting individual.
- Strong sales, customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of parts sales principals, profit margins, and competitive industry pricing.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
