Full description of the position

Job Description


Our client, a leading construction company, is looking for an Account Manager with solid Sales experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities:


1) Maximize market potential by providing business development and account management services at Regional Level and work in liaison with national account group and their customers

2) Conduct site visits and provide analysis of existing, BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO, PVC and metal roof systems

3) Investigate and diagnose the leak source to determine needed roof repairs and life cycle extension solutions

4) Provide alternatives, recommendations, and budget pricing - repair, restoration and replacement options depending on several factors

5) Follow up with regional clients to review proposals and provide suggested PM programs, repairs, replacements, and asset management services to close sales opportunities in company markets and develop long-term relationships with key accounts

6) Provide technical expertise and cultivate relationships with local Property Managers, and Facility Representatives.

7) Utilize a database of completed projects and existing customers; to establish a local presence with national & regional locations to provide roof inspections and other services offerings

8) Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on prospects

9) Communicate effectively with national and local management teams

10) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management
