The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, obtaining, and expanding relationships with distributors and resellers and for managing relationships with assigned channel partners for TelWare Corporation and its affiliates. The Channel Sales Manager must possess a deep understanding of the OneCloud platform and its varied features, as well as adhere to TelWare's highly praised customer approach.
The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for generating additional demands through partner events; studying the market for newer trends; managing channel conflicts; and fostering relationships between channel partners and sellers. The manager must have a thorough knowledge of OneCloud, its features and options, and need to be able to make targeted pitches for current and future clients. While the Channel Sales Manager will typically work in an office setting, this position often travels to conduct meetings and demonstrations for clients. This position may also be required to coach, mentor, and/or train new hires or more junior employees as well.
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Complete understanding of product offerings, including OneCloud, SD-WAN, Microsoft Teams calling plans, Contact Center solutions, and more.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients and partners. This includes regular constructive communication as a liaison of the company to facilitate answers related to sales, support, installation, and billing. It is the Channel Sales Manager’s duty to ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any issues that may arise post-sale, and alerting customers of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Scheduling promotional work and tracking sales activities; quoting products and services, preparing proposals, and providing information regarding terms and delivery. This includes adhering to company pricing guides and following the prescribed approval process.
  • Presenting products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions, and addressing their needs.
  • Identifying and understanding customer product or service needs to identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs. The Channel Sales Manager may also demonstrate the functions and utility of OneCloud and additional product offerings.
  • Entering activity in Zoho, ConnectWise, or other CRM and business software. The Channel Sales Manager will be required to follow all processes and procedures to record sales activities, including opportunities, calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems so the company can report, manage, and grow.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in Channel sales in the telecommunications/technology sector.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Excellent negotiations skills.
  • Proven ability to penetrate leads, penetrate new accounts, and develop and manage a pipeline.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of technical products and services, especially relating to the telecommunications sector.
  • Must quickly demonstrate thorough understanding of product portfolio and related offerings specific to TelWare.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be willing to undergo background and reference checks.
