Now Hiring - Retail Sales Accounting of Vehicle Sales - Coster in Amherst, NY

Job Description:

Recording the sale of New & Used Vehicles /Dealer Trades / Wholesales / After sale items (warranties, Rust proof, etc.)

Review deals for accuracy, record profit and commission and enter correct data into ADP.

• Keep daily logs (Excel)
  • Sales Commissions
  • Daily deal summary
  • Cross Sells (sales between Northtown Stores)
  • Reconcile computer accounting report (MIS) to sales log (Excel Report)

Inventory:

• Enter Factory Invoices into CDK & file hard copies
• Green Card accuracy-record correct cost for each vehicle (from factory invoice, ROs, POs, etc)
• Maintain Accounting Schedules – reconcile and clean
• LIFO (end/beginning of year)

Incentives:

• Record incentive money to be received, record payments of incentive money and maintain schedule

Floor Plan:

• Payments
• Requests

Internals:

• Review and provide accurate account information for PO’s, service ROs, and Parts Invoices
• Reprint/find missing documents based on daily print out

Schedules: (Set up (from deal or factory invoice), post payments, clean discrepancies)

• Back Order (postings from deal, ROs, POs, Parts Invoices)
• Holdback/floor plan assistance
• Inventory/floor plan
• Incentives

Check writing:

• Customer Referrals
• Over payment on deals

Sales Tax:

• Monthly summary of sales tax set up for each deal

Requirements:

• General accounting background or some accounting experience
• Detail orientated person willing to learn
• Knowledge & experience using Excel in a previous role

Shift:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Overtime the first 3 days of every month and/or sometimes on a holiday week.
